LSA North is flying the students of the Saint Paul Public Schools 2009 Sky Pilot class on introductory Discovery Flights. Each flight introduces the students who have been studying aviation on the ground all winter the opportunity to fly with a certificated flight instructor on their first flight behind the controls of an airplane. The students depart Saint Paul Holman field, KSTP, and fly east to the MN WI border over the St. Croix river. Along the way there and back they work with Air Traffic Control, navigate the airplane, and perform several basic flight maneuvers. The first flights were flown April 3, 2009 with instructors Dan Boerner and Kent Johnson. We tried to get photos of everyone. My appologies if I missed anyone.
