17 Year-old student solos after 17 Hours!LSA North Inc. is pleased to announce the first student solo for 2008 January 6, 2008 -- Sport Pilot student Kris Halvorson completed his first supervised solo in the Flight Design CTsw at the Air-Lake airport today. Kris took off and greased in three landings in 49FS. After passing his FAA Knowledge Test this past week, Kris is now planning his cross country flights with his instructor pilot, Scott Johnson, CFI-A, AGI.
