Key Benefits
 | Our instructors believe that a thorough ground lesson and preflight
briefing, will enhance your flight training immensely and reduce the flight
time it takes to learn.

of the Flight Design CT in action. |
 | Here is a brief overview of the
course syllabus.
We use the Gleim Sport Pilot training program in our
flight school. |
 | Our instructors believe that each flight should be fun, purposeful, and
above all - safe. Each flight begins with a complete briefing from Flight
Service, a ground discussion on safety, weight & balance, and the overall
flight plan lesson. |
 | Our aircraft are 2006 or newer. They are clean, safe, fuel efficient, and
comfortable to sit in (not to mention fun to fly). |
 | Lastly, our Light Sport Aircraft are less expensive to rent than any other
comparable aircraft (2006 or newer) in the Metro. You can usually earn your Sport
Pilot license for less than half the cost of a Private Pilot license.
Visit our FAQ page for more details on the cost of
leaning to fly. |

Capabilities
The instructors at LSA North, Inc. hold many and varied advanced ratings and
endorsements; and are able to instruct in many different aircraft. If you need
instruction in your own aircraft, please call us to discuss your personal
training needs.
- Transition Training
- We can provide instruction for current pilots to move up to a faster or
complex airplane, or for "Jet Pilots" to slow down to a Light Sport Aircraft
and remind them how to enjoy the view down low and slow.
-
- New Pilots
- We have many years of experience working with teenagers in instructing
new pilots how to fly safely and to develop an aviation career plan. Many
of our students are older and learning fly (thanks to the new Sport Pilot
no-medical regulations) and present other unique challenges that we can help
you overcome.
-
- Mentor Pilots
- Many of our students are already pilots with hundreds, or thousands, of
flight hours. A good pilot knows that learning never stops and we are able
to provide mentor pilots for short, or long, trips for pilots who want a
right seat partner on their next flight.
